And So It Begins...

Tonight, the Sarajevo-based Radio 202 dedicates a part of their Misljen show to demystifying Osmanagic's pyramid myths. The show begins at 21h and you can - providing that you understand BCS - listen to it online.

Important to note: this show is a kind of a benchmark. Since the onset of pyramid-mania, particularly in Bosnian media, this is the first such public media presentation in Bosnia-Herzegovina to question the theories of Mr. Osmanagic on scientific basis.

Enjoy!

1 - Hi Stultitia.

Is it possible to download the show? I can’t listen to it live (work).

Cheers,

2 - We'll see to record it this time digitally. The last time, when this radio had na interview with Osmanagic in June, we recorded it on tape, and wrote about it on our BCS blogs, but we didn't figure out how to transfer it to a digital form. If you know how that can be done, please, tell - I'm a bit backward in that area :-) (Comment this)

3 - Hi Stultitia,

Just a quick one. There is some software to record streaming audio from online web based radio stations. Some of these are freeware or shareware. Just Google for “streaming audio recorder”. As far as analogue (tape) data to digital data conversion is concerned, it can be done with appropriate hardware. However, I don’t think it is worth it.
Back to work :).

Cheers,

4 - Osmanagic's intrusion, as an uninvited person, into radio show actually shows exactly of what kind of person is here about: careless, unpolite, idiotic cowboy which thinks that his mission of saving the world is prophetic and of utmost importance compared to anything, anyone and anytime.
On the question "Why he managed to seduce so many people?" I will leave to anthropologists to answer (if they ever make it). But to me personally (speaking, hehehe)is more fascinating this one: "What goes on in that (Osmanagic's) head?"
How do you actually get to do something stupid and impolite like everything he did until now, including this latest visit to the opposite side of common sense.
Is it lack of proper house or fatherly guidance or too much time spent in Texas or even a school bully that made him weggies and toilet whirls?
Any theories? (Comment this)

5 - Buaka,

I wouldn't say his behavior has anything to do with for how long he stayed in Texas. Long before he ever visited Texas, Semir Osmanagic used to be what we call "papak". (Comment this)

6 - Buaka,

You wrote ; ""Why he managed to seduce so many people?"

Because he is a snake ; he hypnothizes with his eyes ...

Because so many people are so ignorant.

Because so many people seem to need 'spectacular' things, even fake ones.

Ronald. (Comment this)

7 - No, Ronald, that was hypothetical. I have my theory on seduction, but I also think that anthropologists should dig deeper into that.
For me is more fascinating his behaviour. Perhaps because I would never do something like come uninvited to radio show, and take my self as a reference point, and also therefore don't see the bigger picture, or even psychological background of his personality.
I would like someone (and by that I don't mean Mrs. Nermina) to perhaps give us a bit more insight in his persona. Perhaps someone who has more experience in the field of work. (Comment this)
